The new, easy way to fund your Dosh account

One of our most commonly requested features is to improve the ease of adding money to your Dosh account. Before today, adding funds was a two-step process – receive wages into your bank account, then transfer from your bank account to your Dosh account.

We are pleased to now offer each Dosh customer an individual Dosh Bank account number. You can provide your new Dosh account number to your employer, and they will pay your wages directly into Dosh. Dosh adds the wages to your Dosh account the same day. Once set up, there will be no further action required by you to add money.

The security of the funds received into your account does not change – the Dosh bank account numbers are provided by a registered bank in New Zealand and the funds are held securely in a client trust account on your behalf, at a registered Bank.

Getting set up to receive wages directly into your Dosh account is easy. Just follow the following 3 steps:

1. Contact Dosh in-app or via our website and request a Dosh Bank account number.

2. We will set up the account for you and send you an email with the account details to your registered email address

3. Forward the email directly to your employer requesting an update of the bank account number they pay your wages to. They will confirm when this is complete.
